Framesoft Document Management (FDM) the integrated e-File and Document Management, Archiving and Content Exchange Platform solution.

Framesoft Document Management (FDM) is a software solution for professional E-File and document management. It allows the creation of the required organizational structures and its sub-structures as well as all types of documents to be saved and searched for by assigning keywords configured on the basis of self-defined business rules. FDM also supports the management of document histories. E-Files (collection of documents including sub structures) and documents are provided via Internet or Intranet according to a freely configurable authorisation concept.

FDM provides powerful and intuitive search & reporting capabilities.

FDM supports powerful & extremely fast full-text search functionality as known from Internet search engines. It also supports searches for arbitrary combinations of keyword categories. Elements displayed in the search result can be made available for further processing, i.e. via check-out or searching within the selected document.

OCR & Full Text Search

FDM provides a very fast full text search for all documents stored within the system. By default a search for documents in FDM always contains the full text search, if not explicitly excluded.

Reporting

All major elements in FDM can be printed or transformed into an MS Excel based report.

Additional FDM functionalities include

• Personal Favorites
  FDM supports the creation of personal favorites for e-Files, folder and documents.
• Privilege Management / (Restricted) FDM Administration
  Granular privilege management down to single document level. Multiple units or departments using FDM can be configured and administered separately.
• Subscription
  In order to receive new documents / information about newly checked-in documents regarding a selected subject, a subscription can be entered. Whenever a document that fulfils the subscribed criteria is checked-in into FDM, the subscriber receives an e-Mail informing about the newly checked-in document.
• Additional Modules
  Additional software modules related to document management or independent from document management related aspects can be created and integrated into FDM data model and user interface.
• Document Compare
  MS Word or PDF documents stored in FDM or externally can be compared. The comparison result will be provided as a document.

FDM is seamlessly / tightly integrated with other Framesoft products such as Framesoft Contract Repository (FCR) , Framesoft Structured Products (FSP) , Framesoft Confirmation Generator (FCG) , Framesoft Financial Research (FFR) as well as Framesoft Legal Matter Management (FLM) , allowing the archiving of execution copies, correspondences, publications and results of negotiations and business flows.
