Framesoft Artificial Intelligence (FAI) · Document intelligence

Contracts simplified. Risks reduced. Insights unlocked.

FAI turns contract documents into governed, structured, actionable information. It is embedded in Framesoft Contract Repository (FCR) and Framesoft Structured Products (FSP) — analysis, validation, drafting, negotiation and Talk to FCR — not bolted on as a chatbot.

Benefits

  • OCR with AI quality assurance
  • Extraction against the FCR data model
  • Multi-model quorum validation
  • Talk to FCR semantic search
  • Governed drafting and negotiation support
  • Human-in-the-loop write-back

Document analysis

FAI processes contracts, amendments, annexes and schedules in major formats, individually or in batches. OCR converts scans; a quality check runs before downstream analysis. Agreement types, clauses and data items are extracted and validated against FCR structures.

Reconciliation

Extracted content is compared with FCR. Differences are prioritized in comparison views. Users approve changes before write-back. Where no record exists, FAI can start one. Material decisions stay with authorized users.

Talk to FCR

Users ask questions in natural language. Semantic retrieval finds termination rights, MAC clauses, governing law or regulatory obligations even when wording differs. Sessions can be preserved for audit.

Legal opinions

FAI structures and compares legal opinions with the relevant contract types, jurisdictions and classifications. Conclusions, assumptions, qualifications, limitations and follow-up requirements stay accessible and auditable in FCR.

Drafting, negotiation and the assistant

Verified FCR data is combined with approved templates, clause libraries and drafting rules for document pre-population, intelligent clause assembly, and contract and amendment generation, including summarization and translation. During negotiation, FAI compares clauses and redlines with approved language, negotiation guidance and repository data. It highlights deviations, assesses risk, summarizes changes and can suggest alternative or fallback wording for review. The assistant sits in the FCR screens where the work already happens. It can retrieve and explain contract data, summarize a document, validate extracted values, compare clauses, support drafting and start a follow-up, inside existing permissions and the audit trail.

Governance

Multiple models can analyze the same task in parallel. Results are consolidated through quorum validation. A quality score is applied to OCR, and further AI-driven recognition runs where the scan is not reliable enough for downstream analysis. Existing FCR permissions, workflows and audit trails remain in force. Users verify extracted data before it is trusted.

Beyond the current data model

Extraction covers counterparties, the bank legal entity, governing law, termination, collateral, netting and regulatory classification, and it also flags contractual information that is not yet a field in FCR. That is how the data model keeps growing. FAI can summarise a contract, a section, a clause or a negotiated change, and it can translate contractual text for a multilingual book. Verified repository data can be applied back onto approved templates, so analysis and generation stay on the same record. Workflows can start a review, an agreement update or a compliance report from the analysis result.
