Framesoft Contract Management (FCM) · Contract lifecycle
Turn contracts into control.
Framesoft Contract Repository (FCR) is the governed core of Framesoft Contract Management. It digitizes, automates and optimizes the complete agreement lifecycle — request, creation, negotiation, approval, execution, amendment, termination, reporting and netting. Framesoft Document Management (FDM) and Framesoft Document Assembly (FDA) are covered below.
Benefits
- Regulatory capital optimization
- Risk reduction and improved controls
- Productivity and end-to-end transparency
- Structured data capture and analytics

Agreement repository
A flexible data model stores any agreement type, clauses, annexes and related legal documentation. New types and data elements are configured, not coded. Granular access controls keep confidential information inside the right legal entities.
Workflow and control
The workflow engine manages agreement and annex requests, onboarding, non-standard terms, legal opinions, generation, review, approval and amendments. Workflows are drawn in a graphical model, with a rule engine, task assignment, notifications and a full history. Several contracts can be bundled for one data-entry task and split again at a defined status, such as generation of the first draft. Generated documents open in Framesoft Docs, which applies mapping rules, FDA templates and agreement data, keeps global styles, tracks changes, and exports to Word, Excel or PDF.
Generation, events and netting
Templates generate agreements and amendments from workflows, user action or external systems. Event & Lifecycle Management tracks obligations, renewals and terminations. The Netting Engine determines nettable relationships from legal opinions, contractual terms and rules — including liquidation netting and CSAs.
Search, Talk to FCR, and audit
Search and reporting cover contractual data and documents. Talk to FCR adds semantic retrieval so users ask business questions in natural language, inside existing permissions. The audit module keeps a tamper-evident trail of user actions, workflow events and data changes.
Master agreements, credit and capital
FCR is the working application for Legal, Documentation, Credit and Treasury. It turns qualitative terms in master agreements — close-out netting and collateral arrangements — into centrally managed data for OTC derivatives, repo and securities lending. That data supports credit-line management and regulatory capital relief, and it keeps legal risk and operational risk under the same control. Multi-branch relationships, products traded and the jurisdictions that decide nettability are part of the record. FCR already manages thousands of master and collateral agreements for leading banks and securities houses.
Dynamic data and netting determination
Additional data types can be set up without a new release, so a change in capital rules or an early-termination clause can be applied across the book. The netting algorithm states, down to branch and city within a jurisdiction, which combinations of counterparty and product are nettable. The Netting Analyzer evaluates a single agreement or a group in real time. Schedules are generated from jurisdiction, counterparty, netting and product data held in FCR. Execution copies and related documents archive in FDM. Interfaces pass agreement and netting facts to in-house systems, and can take counterparty and rating data back in.
