Assemble the right document from approved language.

Framesoft Document Assembly (FDA) is the template and clause repository used by Framesoft Contract Repository (FCR), Framesoft Structured Products (FSP) and Framesoft Document Generator (FDG). Approved language, not free-form authoring, drives generation of agreements, amendments, term sheets and regulatory documents. Framesoft Confirmation Generator (FCG) and Framesoft Document Management (FDM) are covered below.

Benefits

  • Clause library with placeholders and conditional logic
  • Templates selected by product, agreement type, jurisdiction and issuer
  • What-if analysis before a clause is changed
  • Used by FCR, FSP, FDG and FCG

Governed language

Legal and documentation teams maintain templates and clauses once. A master document is assembled from reusable components — sub-documents, sections and clauses — and each component can be used in many templates. Clauses carry placeholders and rules for when a paragraph appears. Generation pulls verified data from FCR or FSP. The template is chosen by a mapping — product, agreement type, form of organisation, jurisdiction, place of issuance, or another criterion — and can be started from a request workflow, a manual regeneration, or an API call.

Versions, and what a change would touch

A generated document opens in Framesoft Docs. An edit to a clause creates a revision number, kept separate from the template clause version, so the bank can see which approved language was used and what was changed afterwards. Clause and template history, generated-document search and clause-usage search are included. A what-if shows which already generated documents a proposed clause update would affect. Output is PDF, Word or HTML. Drafts through execution copies archive in FDM.

Across the suite

The same assembly service supports contract generation, structured product documentation, confirmations and high-volume FDG output, so wording stays consistent across the enterprise. A new or changed component is approved before it is released for generation. Assembled documents can go straight into Online Negotiation, including multi-party review, simultaneous revisions, merge handling and a message thread on the document.
