Artificial Intelligence Embedded

One of the most significant advancements in FCR 5 is the comprehensive integration of Framesoft Artificial Intelligence (FAI) across the FCR platform.

FAI is no longer positioned simply as a separate analytical capability. It is embedded throughout FCR modules, screens, workflows, and contract-processing activities, enabling users to access AI capabilities directly in the context in which contractual work is performed. Framesoft's current FAI platform combines contract understanding, validation, reconciliation, data extraction, document intelligence, workflow integration, and contract generation directly with FCR. Integrated capabilities include Talk to FCR, FAI Chat, Contract Analysis, intelligent data extraction and reconciliation, document analysis, AI-assisted contract creation, and document generation.

Talk to FCR – Contract Intelligence Where Users Need It

Talk to FCR enables users to interact with contractual data and documents through natural language directly within FCR. Instead of relying exclusively on structured database searches or keywords, users can ask business and legal questions across their contract portfolio using Smart Search, Semantic Retrieval, and AI-assisted Contract Intelligence. Contractual provisions, obligations, termination rights, regulatory clauses, risk indicators, netting information, and other relevant content can therefore be identified and analyzed faster while respecting the user’s existing FCR access rights.

Multi AI-Model Quorum Validation – Greater Confidence in AI-Based Contract Analysis

With FAI 2.1, FCR 5 supports Multi AI-Model Quorum Validation, an advanced validation and risk-mitigation framework designed for the reliable analysis, interpretation, and extraction of legal and commercial information from master agreements, amendments, schedules, annexes, and related documentation. Instead of relying on a single AI model, multiple independent AI models analyze the same contractual task in parallel. Their results are compared and consolidated through a quorum-based validation process. This approach is designed to provide a significantly higher level of accuracy, consistency, resilience, explainability, and auditability, while reducing dependency on individual model interpretations.

AI-Powered Contract Analysis, Validation and Creation

FAI integration also enables contractual documents to be analyzed against structured information maintained within FCR. Relevant contract terms and data can be automatically extracted, validated, and reconciled with existing FCR information. Differences or inconsistencies can be identified for user review, while approved FCR data can subsequently be used for the creation or amendment of contractual documentation. This creates an integrated cycle between contract documents, structured contract data, AI-supported analysis, validation, and document generation.

Enhanced Contract Lifecycle Management

FCR 5 introduces a dedicated Amendment Handling Module, providing structured amendment processing and enhanced comparison capabilities. The FCR Workflow Engine has also been further enhanced to support efficient and controlled contract-related processes, including agreement and amendment requests, onboarding, approvals, legal opinion management, document generation, lifecycle events, notifications, and terminations. Additional enhancements to Framesoft Docs improve template management and document generation, supporting controlled creation of agreements and amendments based on approved templates, clauses, and structured FCR data.

Real-Time Netting & Enhanced Netting Analysis

Netting remains a key capability of FCR, particularly for financial institutions managing master agreements, collateral arrangements, legal opinions, and complex trading relationships. FCR 5 introduces a real-time netting flag and further enhancements to the FCR Netting Analyzer. FCR supports automated netting determination based on contractual information, legal opinions, and configurable netting rules, helping institutions manage liquidation netting and collateral arrangements while providing relevant contractual information to downstream trading, credit-risk, and regulatory-capital processes.

Redesigned User Experience

The FCR Home Screen has been redesigned to provide faster access to relevant contract information, activities, and tasks. Further UI improvements enhance visual consistency, usability, and navigation throughout the platform. Combined with the integration of FAI and Talk to FCR across multiple FCR screens, these enhancements support a more intuitive way of accessing, understanding, and acting on contractual information.

Performance, Security & Technology

FCR 5 includes further technical optimizations designed to improve performance, responsiveness, security, stability, and long-term maintainability. The technology platform has been upgraded to OpenJDK 25, while integrated third-party libraries have been updated to current versions. Additional functional improvements and extensions have also been introduced throughout the application.

Flexible Deployment

Depending on client requirements, FCR 5 can be deployed On-premises, within the client’s cloud environment or as Software-as-a-Service (SaaS). This flexibility enables financial institutions and corporates to select an operating model aligned with their infrastructure, security, governance, and regulatory requirements.

From Contract Repository to Intelligent Contract Management

With FCR 5, Framesoft continues the evolution of FCR from a centralized repository into an intelligent contract management platform. By combining configurable contract data management, workflow automation, document generation, amendment handling, netting, analytics, auditability, online negotiation, and deeply integrated Artificial Intelligence, FCR 5 enables organizations to manage both contractual documents and the structured information they contain within one controlled environment. FCR 5 represents an important step toward making Artificial Intelligence an integral and governed part of enterprise contract management.
